Straight Spouse Support is a peer to peer support group helping each other deal with the shock, grief and anger caused when a partner ‘comes out’ as bi, gay or lesbian or is confused about their sexuality. We are based in Australia with an affiliated group in New Zealand.

You are not alone. This has happened to each of us in the group and we can share our journeys and help answer any questions you have in dealing with your situation. As a peer to peer support group we are regular people who have been through the same situation and can share with you our journey as Str8 Spouses.

Our group has members who have stayed together, divorced, separated, and in some cases moved on to new relationships. We are young, middle aged and mature, from all parts of Australia, many with children, some without. We come from a range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds and live in suburban, urban and rural communities across Australia and New Zealand.

If you would like to join Straight Spouse Support please complete the form under the Contact tab and we will have someone from the team contact you. If you are in crisis and need immediate assistance please contact Life Line Australia 13 11 14 or Lifeline New Zealand 0800 543 354.
